Some students need reinforcement on a certain concept; some are eating up the book faster than their technique can support; some need a "special" piece for a wedding or church service. There are many reasons to add repertoire, judiciously, to Suzuki Harp Books.
This session will present an annotated list of possibilities, gathered by the SAA Harp Repertoire committee from experienced teachers. Emphasis will be on the techniques needed and utilized and appropriate performance venues.
An additional list of a sequence of technical studies and exercises will be included.

So, this is the text for the proposal. It was accepted! So, now I have to come up with some information. I am soliciting ideas from all of you. Are there any pieces of non-Suzuki music that you have used with a student for any of the above reasons? Perhaps some you have used with adults, those who read and those who don't. Any favorite exercises? Method Books from your own childhood? Vamps and ad libs that are particularly useful? Rhythm books? Theory texts? Websites?

The results will be posted elsewhere on this website after the Conference.
